These nations flourish in natural beauty and a rich, complex heritage that rewards the receptive traveler with an unforgettable journey. Join your fellow listeners on a custom itinerary that introduces you to lands blessed with forested highlands, fertile rice terraces, mysterious emerald waters and thriving 21st century cities.

Our adventure begins in stately Hanoi, then visits the lush countryside and seascape of Halong Bay. We continue south to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), the most important economic center in Vietnam, taking time to visit the floating markets and lively river communities in the Mekong Delta.Throughout our journey, we contemplate military history (including the Hanoi Hilton where Sen. John McCain was incarcerated), and savor world-class cuisine and 5-star accomodations.  Our journey ends on a high note when we dedicate three days to the World Heritage Site of Angkor in Cambodia.  This complex of temples dates to the 9th century and was once the bustling center of Asia’s most powerful ancient civilization, the Khmers.
