One of the classic treks in the Himalaya, this journey ascends from Lukla over snowy passes and rock-strewn glacial moraine to the summits of Goyko Ri (17,989'), Cho La (17,782'), Kala Pattar (18,200') and to Everest Base Camp (EBC). With each step, we are rewarded with heavenly vistas including four of the world's highest summits: Cho Oyu, Makalu, Lhotse, and Everest. These magnificent mountains are the backdrop for the villages of the Sherpa people we see tending their fields, trading their goods in the market at Namche, and herding their yaks in high alpine pastures.
